Thread starter Tomboeg Start date Apr 22, Tomboeg New Member. Hello Let's get straight to the point. I've set up my broadcast and everything is fine. It's streaming fine and all. But now when i use my microphone i hear it back in the video, and the microphone records that again and it yea echo's. Is there a way i can fix this? I haven't found the option to select capture windows sound, but they can only capture what i play from my boxes.

So please if anyone has a working solution, please tell me. VinnyJ New Member. I had this issue too with my webcam's mic. ThoNohT Developer. Are you watching your own srtream on the same pc by any chance? If so, don't. Voxletum Member.

If you're streaming to twitch and have your dashboard open, you need to pause the version that's playing there. This is what i get. I removed everything and tried to do what you said. And yes i was watching my own stream to see if it works. Since if i didn't open it i wouldn't see or notice anything.

And i haven't put a dashboard link so i guess that won't be no issue. Mejet New Member.Alexa devices such as Amazon Echo are a convenient way to listen to the audio. Because they are portable, you can stream content on any device and carry your Echo around. This way, you will always be close to the sound source without having to turn up the volume of the other device to the max.

However, not all Alexa devices are able to play audio or link with TVs. Also, not all TVs can connect to Alexa. The following TechJunkie how-to article will explain how to play your TV audio through an Alexa device, along with the prerequisites needed to make this happen! Having a TV that you can connect to other devices via Bluetooth is essential for connecting to Alexa devices such as the Echo.

All Alexa audio devices are essentially Bluetooth speakers, and there is no other way to link up with these Alexa devices.

Amazon Echo is a device that usually has both Alexa support and Bluetooth capabilities. If you have Amazon Echo Tap, you will not be able to pair with any device. On the other hand, Amazon Echo Dot supports Bluetooth, but the sound quality is not on the required level for enjoying music or TV program. You should look for a second-generation and newer device for better audio quality. You can easily check if your TV supports Bluetooth by looking at the specs.

You can find the specs on the product box, or by doing a web search for information about your TV on the web. If you want to connect Alexa speakers to your TV, you will first have to prepare both of your devices.

To do this, you will need to do the following steps:. Note: You may want to turn off Bluetooth on other devices such as phones and tablets, as sometimes having Bluetooth on can interfere with connecting a new device to your Alexa device. Then to test out how things are working, play something on the TV to check the audio. All the output should now happen through your Alexa speakers. Once you make sure that your TV supports Bluetooth pairing, you should figure out how to access it.

For example, this is how you do it on a Bluetooth-supported Samsung TV:. Your TV should act as if it has built-in Bluetooth support. If you want to pair your Amazon Echo, the TV should display it on the screen. Unfortunately, Bluetooth is the only way to pair Alexa and other devices. Some models, such as the Amazon Echo Plus, have a 3.

Once you connect your devices, you will be able to watch your favorite TV program from your bed. Although your speaker choice can be as simple and compact as a beefy tabletop Bluetooth unit like the Nyne Bass we showcased in our guide to buying a portable Bluetooth speakertruly anything that offers Bluetooth connectivity and good speakers is a potential candidate. If you have a sound bar with Bluetooth connectivity, for example—a feature we highlighted in our sound bar buying guide —you can link your Echo to your sound bar. In fact, even if you have an old but still great sounding test of floor speakers, you can connect your Echo to them via Bluetooth with a simple Bluetooth-to-analog adapter, like the one we use in our guide to adding Bluetooth headphones to your HDTV.

This will result in better quality, too, as Bluetooth does sadly degrade audio quality somewhat. Full-size Echo users must use Bluetooth.

Plug in your Echo device nearby anywhere in the general vicinity is fine, Bluetooth has a range of around 30 feet. First, put your Bluetooth speaker or adapter into pairing mode.

Second, access the Alexa control panel via your phone or a web browser. Now is the time to put your Bluetooth speaker in pairing mode. Your speaker should appear is the list of available devices, as seen below—click on it. Make a mental note of what the speaker or adapter is called.

Once the pairing process is complete, your actual Echo unit still acts as the input for all commands but the output will come from the paired speakers. The nice thing about Bluetooth is that it allows you to put the Echo device practically anywhere within the roughly 30 foot range Bluetooth affords. Although Amazon recommends you put at least 3 feet of space between the speakers and the Echo device because very close proximity can make it difficult, while audio is pumping out of the speakers, for the microphone array to properly pick up your voice commands we found that their concern was a bit overblown.

When this happens, it's always one of the following: 1. A misconfiguration in OBS you have a device source set to "output to desktop" instead of "output to stream"or 2.

A misconfiguration in windows mic set to play back to 'listen'or 3. You have your stream or dashboard page open which is playing back your stream audio. I cant find where to switch from desktop to stream? Can you post your log? I am now just having a small echo problem not nearly as bad as previous Im still trying to mess with it and has been improving, any answers or suggestions I am open to them.

Echoing and Volume issues on Ps4 Party Chat. Thread starter Glorious Ownage Start date Nov 22, Forums Discussions Gaming Discussion. JavaScript is disabled. Does anyone else have issues in the party chat on PS4 with constantly hearing yourself echo?

Why is My PS4 Mic Echoing?

I've tried four different mics to no avail. In addition the four friends I know who own this console report the same issue. The other issue I have is that even with the volume turned all the way up through the adjust device settings the voice chat still remains extremely quiet.

This can be extremely annoying and frustrating because I have never had echoing or volume issues on the vita party chat. I'm assuming I'm not alone I'm just really surprised I haven't heard any vocalization on the subject. This is especially irksome after participating in an Xbox One party chat which sounds skype quality with no volume or echoing issues.

ShinobiFist Banned. Nope, no issues at all so far.A bad audio configuration on your computer might leave you wondering if there's an echo in the room. The computer's audio settings can create a feedback loop that repeats played audio through the system's recording devices and plays back the audio a second time. Computers with pass-through playback enabled can experience the echo error even if there's no microphone connected to the computer, if the internal recording device is erroneously playing back audio.

Additionally, sound processing effects and bad wiring can cause playback echo. The software that operates audio devices doesn't always work correctly. Updating the sound card's drivers to the latest version may eliminate any audio playback irregularities. Windows Update is a mostly automatic service that can keep drivers up-to-date.

However, if Windows Update isn't pulling the latest sound card drivers, they can usually be found on the manufacturer's support website. The Windows troubleshooting tool may also be able to diagnose and fix echo problems.

You can troubleshoot audio playback by opening the Control Panel, selecting "Find and fix problems," choosing "Troubleshoot audio playback" and following the onscreen instructions. Eliminating echo may be as simple as moving the microphone away from the computer speakers. If you frequently use the computer for audio recording, whether it's as complicated as multi-track music or as practical as making Skype calls, you may be accustomed to using pass-through audio to gauge sound quality.

Pass-through audio plays back whatever sound is coming through the microphone or recording device through the speakers. Some Windows computers have latency in the feedback, which delays the microphone input playback by a second, contributing to a more dramatic echo effect. Disabling pass-through playback may stop the echo. Pass-through playback can be added can be added with third party software: disable the software if you're experiencing echo. In Windows 7, Microsoft removed microphone-to-speaker volume control from the "Playback" devices menu.

Pre-Windows 7 users can adjust the Microphone level by opening the "Sound" option on the Control Panel, selecting "Properties" on the playback device and using the sliders on the "Levels" tab to adjust or mute volume. You can also disable audio input devices to stop echo effects on the "Sound" option's "Recording" tab. Disable the microphone by right-clicking on the icon, selecting "Properties," choosing the "Levels" tab and clicking the speaker icon to mute the device.
